or CCCLA (China Chamber of Commerce for Im-
port & Export of Light Industrial Products & Arts-
crafts), as well as a deputy chairman members-
hip in Luggage & Leather Products Guild of Sha-
nghai Federation of Industry & Commerce .
The company has passed ISO9001 2000 Intern-
ational Quality System Accreditation .
Shanghai Newest owns more 1000 skilled wo-
rkers and 18 luggage production and assembli-
ng lines that are most advancedn in China, bes-
ides complete set of testing equipment and qua-
lity inspection system. The products of Shangh-
ai Newest are known for their elegance, trendy
fashion, and durableness.
The technology center and workshop of the c-
ompany are located in Jinshan Industrial Park of
Shanghai . At present,the company has an ann-
ual export volume of 10 million USD with yearly
output of 2 million pieces.

Shanghai Newest has 10 experienced
designers. Learning and developing t-
he creative ideas of contemporary Am-
erican and European journals, as well
as ideas from Internet enhanced the c-
ompany’s design. Each year the com-
pany sent designers to abroad for trai-
ning, such as training of 2 seasoned
designers in ARPEL school in Italy in 2002 The company boasts of over 100
national level patents in industrial de-
sign.

Production equipment:
Shanghai Newest is proud to own advanced
production equpments: 8 sets of Mitsubishi
computer sewing machine, eight 100tons/50
tons imported highspeed hydraulic cutting m-
achines, 12 Mitsu bishi Cylinder-bed single-
needle Compound Feed Lockstitch machin-
es, and 450 sewing machines co-produced
with Japan. The company spends 50,000 U-
SD every year to upgrade equipments.
Quality control & testing system:
60 well-trained staff to control product quali-
ty in the following aspects:
1. Inspect unprocessed material to prevent
flawed products beforehand.
2. 100% safeguard of unfinished products
before transferring to next stage.
3. Finished products are 100% inspected b-
fore package.
4. Reject unruly and in-appropriately packed
products.
We have complete set of testing equipment:
machine for trolley test ,handle test,color te-
st, drop test, cold resista-nce test, tension t-
est,etc.
For two successive years we have been aw- arded Product Quality Excellence Medal by
Metro Group, Germany . Three special qual-
ity golds awards in China International Pate-
nt and Famous Brand Exhibition hosted by
State Intellectual Property Officeof P. R. Chi-
